Éamon Ó Cuív T.D., Minister for Community, Rural, and Gaeltacht Affairs has sanctioned funding of €262,770 to assist Coiste Páirce Naomh Abán, Baile Mhúirne to carry out improvement works on the playing field and training field. The grant is composed of €218,976 from the Gaeltacht Improvement Scheme and top-up funding of €43,795 from CLÁR.
The Minister said, “It is an aim of the Government to assist community committees in building and developing first rate sporting and social facilities so that the people of Gaeltacht communities can remain in their own districts.”
