Éamon Ó Cuív T.D., Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs has announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €43,658.50 under the Scheme for Accommodation Roads in the Waterford Gaeltacht.
This grant has been sanctioned to carry out work on the county road D7 between An Rinn and An Seanphobal. This work will be carried out in co-operation with the County Council on a 50:50 basis.
The Minister also said that this type of investment demonstrated the Government's commitment to providing proper infrastructure in rural and Gaeltacht areas thereby providing options for people to remain in their own communities.
